    1871 (July 9): Cover carried at Printed Matter rate locally used within Alexandria franked by 1867/69 10 pa. bright mauve tied by V.R.POSTE EGIZIANE / ALESSANDRIA cds in black. Repeated strike at left. Minor stain and  file folds away from the adhesive, a very scarce rate.
