    1867 (July 6): Entire letter from Cairo to Alexandria, franked by 1866 20 pa. blue in a horizontal pair to pay the 1 piastre rate, tied by two strikes of POSTE VICE REALI EGIZIANE / CAIRO datestamps in blue. Reverse with Alexandria arrival cds (same day). A delightful and scarce entire - demonstraing the reduced stock of the 1 piastre adhesive in the Cairo Post Office in July 1867. Signed Todd AIEP.
