    1866 (Feb 11): Cover to Damanhour franked by vertical pair of 1866 20 pa. blue, paying the 1 piastre rate, with each stamp tied by 81 dot 'retta' in black, POSTE VICE REALI EGIZIANE / ALESSANDRIA cds at left. Damanhour arrival cds on reverse (same day). A scarce (and early) usage of this stamp on letter. Signed Todd AIEP.
