    1865 (May 29): Entire letter from Cairo to Marseille, struck on despatch with POSTE VICE REALI EGIZIANE / CAIRO datestamp in blue, transferred to French P.O. with 'Alexandrie / Egypte' cds (June 2). Small cartridge PAQUEBOTS / DE LA / MEDITERRANÉE in red and charged with handstruck '10' décimes in black on arrival (June 8). A fine and scarce combination usage. Signed Todd AIEP.
