    1864c.: Unpaid combination cover from Cairo to Berlin, Prussia struck on despatch with Type VI POSTA EUROPEA / CAIRO in blue, transferred to the Austrian Post Office where struck with circular ALEXANDRIEN cds (Jan 27) in black. Charged with manuscript '24' (kreuzer) due on arrival (Feb 7) in Berlin (9 kr = Ship postage, 9 kr. land postage to Austria + 6 kr. Austria - Berlin). Faults to reverse but a very rare combination usage.
