    1868 (April 7): Cover from Zagazig to Paris showing the availability of French stamps at Zagazig, with Egypt 1867 1 pi. red and France 1862 40 c. orange both tied by POSTE VICE REALI EGIZIANE / ZAGASIK datestamp in black; transferred to French P.O. in Alexandria (April 9) and the France 40 c. cancelled by dotted '5080' lozenge. Reverse with Egyptian P.O. in Alexandria cds and Paris (April 16) arrival. A fine and scarce usage.
