    1'000 r. grey and 1885 100 r. pale lilac, used on 1887 registered Money Letter from Morretes to Curitiba tied by bold MORRETES datestamp (Aug 16) in black. Repeated strike below and oval framed REGISTRADA alongside. Reverse with 'Con 40$000' annotation and this the rate breaks down as follows: Postage 100 r., registration 200 r., and 2% of insured amount = 800 r. The 100 r. adhesive being very pale indeed but a most attractive and rare cover.
