    1'000 r. grey and 300 r. bistre used on front of registered Money Letter from Ouro Preto to Ibiriahi, neatly tied by bold strike of oval REGISTRADO in black with OURO PRETO cds (Jan 19, 1887) alongside. Annotated at top '50$000' for declared value with rate: Postage 100 r., registration 200 r. and 2% insurance on 50$000 reis = 1'000 r. Cover front with slight tear and red arricator indicating declared value but most attractive and very rare. Cert. Moorhouse (2013).
