    1'000 r. grey, a fine used block of ten (5 x 2) with part 'American Bank..' imprint at right, all cancelled individually by 'Rio De Janeiro' datestamps (Jan 23, 1884) in black. A superb and extremely rare multiple in excellent quality: all three of the blocks in this sale being superior to the Chusyd multiple: blocks of ten being the second largest known.
