    200 r. black, horizontal strips of five and six prepaying the 11 times rate to France, used on 1881 Boris Frères cover to Paris from Fortaleza (March 23), with the adhesives cancelled in blue on despatch with 'Fortaleza' cds alongside; cancelled again with segmented cork handstamps in Pernambuco in transit (March 26). 'Bresil / Calais' entry mark in black (April 17) on front and Paris arrival cds on reverse. Some edge wear to envelope and a few insignificant imperfections but a spectacular cover: a rarity of the issue.
