500 r. orange, horizontal strip of four used on 1888 Boris Frères cover mailed from Fortaleza via Pernambuco to Paris in combination with 1884 200 r. pale rose lilac pair all tied by both 'Fortaleza' datestamps (May 23) and by 'Pernambuco' datestamps (May 26) in black. Reverse with Paris arrival cds (June 10). Minor faults and some ageing but a wonderful and rare franking.
