    100 r. green and 1866 80 r. slate violet (2) used on attractive 1877 entire letter endorsed 'per Neva' (British Packet) to Figueria, Portugal tied by segmented cork handstamps in black with 'Pernambuco / Brazil' cds of despatch at left (Nov 29) and oval 'Franca' alongside. Reverse with 'P. Transatlantico'  cds in green applied in Lisbon (Dec 13). The 100 r. contemporarily defective but a pretty cover paying the newly introduced 260 reis rate.
