    10 r. vermilion rouletted used on 1877 entire letter to Figueria, Portugal with 1866 perf. 50 r. blue and 200 r. black all tied by segmented cork handstamps and by 'Pernambuco / Brazil' datestamp (Sept 29) and by oval 'Franca'. Reverse with 'P. Transatlantico' datestamp in green (Oct 11). A superb example of the newly introduced UPU rate and a delightful mixed issue franking in outstanding quality.
