500 r. orange, a fine single example used on 1875 Boris Frères cover endorsed 'via Pernambuco' to Paris, neatly tied by sunburst segmented cork cancellation in black. Reverse with one flap missing but showing 'Bordeaux a Paris' TPO (Dec 8) and charged '24' décimes handstruck on receipt.
