    100 r. green, two examples used on 1874 cover to France, each tied by dotted cork handstamps in black, with 'Rio De Janeiro' cds at left (Oct 27) and underpaid 60 reis for rate to France. Charged the entire amount due on receipt with '8' décimes handstruck in black on arrival (Nov 20). Charge paid and handstamp deleted, the letter being forwarded to Cambes with France 1871/75 25 c. blue tied by 688 gros chiffres of Cadillac. Edge faults in upper right corner with a few perforations affected but a rare and most unusual usage. Cert. Moorhouse (2013).
