    80 r. slate violet, two examples used on 1879 cover from Porto Alegre to London in combination with 1878 100 r. green, all tied by segmented cork handstamps in black with 'Porto Alegre' datestamp alongside (Feb 28) in blue and London arrival (April 7) in red. Envelope cleaned with some edge wear and corner faults to 80 reis adhesives, nevertheless scarce.
