    80 r. slate violet in a horizontal pair used with 1876 rouletted 100 r. green on 1878 cover from Fortaleza to Laurvig, Norway, the stamps being cancelled lightly in blue at Fortaleza with datestamp in blue below (May 11) alongside framed cachet of the 'Konigl. Svenska och Norrska Vice Consulat a Ceara' in black. The adhesives cancelled again in transit at Pernambuco by black cork cancels with reverse showing French type 'Pernambuco' cds (May 16). Closed cover tear through 'Norway' on front but a rare cover to a most unusual destination.
