    1871 (Jan 27): Cover addressed to Bordeaux carried on the final Ballon Monté flight from Paris on 'Le Général Cambronne', franked by Cérès 1870 20 c. blue tied by Paris Star with 'R. De Bondy' datestamp at left. Reverse with Bordeaux arrival (Feb 2) datestamp clearly struck. A very rare Ballon and a fine cover.
