    1874/77: Covers (4) all from Portugal to Rio de Janeiro, three covers being franked by perf. 1870/84 80 r. orange, three being taxed on arrival with octagonal framed '300 / Rs.' charge marking, one with '300' charge due applied in blue manuscript crayon; one entire letter sent unpaid and stampless. Condition varies but an interesting group.
