    1871 (Jan 12): Gazette Des Absents No. 25, complete example addressed to St. Jean-Pied-de-Port, carried on Ballon Monté 'Le Général Faidherbe' and franked by 1870 Cérès 20 c. blue tied by Paris Star with Place de Madeleine cds alongside. Reverse with 'Bordeaux A Irun' TPO cds (Jan 23) and St. Jean arrival (Jan 24). Couple of minor bends but a fine entire.
