    1893 (June 24): Cover, minor edge wear at base and slight trim at top, mailed from Itabapoanna to Rio de Janeiro franked by 1890 Southern Cross 50 r. green and rare usage of diagonally bisected 1888 700 r. violet each firmly tied by ITABAPOANNA datestamp in black. Reverse with Rio de Janeiro arrival cds (June 26). A fine and attractive cover pre-paying the quadruple internal rate. Cert. Moorhouse (2013).
