    1876: Cover from Fortaleza, Ceará to Sachsenhausen, Germany endorsed 'per Royal Mail Steamer', franked for double rate by Dom Pedro 1866 100 r. green, 200 r. black and 500 r. orange, two stamps over-lapping envelope, all tied by segmented cork cancellations in black. French type 'Pernambuco' transit cds on front (Jan 29) and Sachsenhausen arrival on reverse.
