    1878 (Feb 11): Cover from Fortaleza, Ceará to Trieste/Austria franked by mixed issue usage of 1866 Dom Pedro 80 r. slate-violet in a horizontal pair and 1876 rouletted 100 r. green tied by segmented cork cancellations with 'Fortaleza' datestamp alongside. Reverse with French type 'Pernambuco' transit cds (Feb 14) and Trieste arrival (March 1) in black. A fresh and fine cover.
