    1877 (Dec 9): Cover from Rio de Janeiro to Stuttgart, Germany endorsed 'per Iberia', with scarce mixed issue franking of perforated 1866 60 r. black (sheet marginal) and rouletted 1876 200 r. black each tied by segmented cork handstamps in black with Rio cds alongside. A fine and most unusual pre-payment of the newly introduced (July 1, 1877) UPU rate. Cert. Moorhouse (2013).
