    Russian Post Office in Jassy. 1846 (Sept 19): Cover addressed to Jassy from Kishinev with obverse showing manuscript rate notations at upper right, reverse with superb strikes of two line dated KISHINEV despatch handstamp in black and V. YASSAKH POLUCHENO / 21 SEPTEMBER 1846 handstamp (Received at Jassy) of arrival in Jassy in black (Tchilinghirian fig. 37). Extremely fine and rare cover, identical to the illustration given in Tchilinghirian on page 62 and probably the cover formerly in the Edouard Cohen collection. Signed Pascanu.
