1841 (April 7): Partially prepaid cover to Trieste struck with superb SMIRNA straight line handstamp in black (Tchilinghirian fig. 1). Marked at base 'Col Piroscafo del Lloyd' with manuscript '31+40+36=1/17 (sic), which does not indicate the rate for this latter but more probably a batch of letters, the charge for this being '25½' kreuzer = 22 kr ship rate + 2 kr. local delivery + 1½ kr. for disinfection on arrival.Starting bid : 150 CHFHammer price : not sold -
