    1865: 4 annas green, a scarce horizontral strip of four tied to 1865 cover (second sheet of entire) from Mahé, Malabar Coast to Bordeaux, all tied by framed 'grill' handstamps in black. Reverse with Madras (March 5) transit and Bordeaux arrival (April 4). A rare usage from the French settleement in Mahé and a fresh and fine cover.
