    60 reis black, Early Impression, a fine used example with large margins all round, used as seal on reverse of October 1844 entire letter from Paraty to Rio de Janeiro (Tixieira correspondence) tied by bold strike of straight line PARATI handstamp (Ayres 1160) in black. Slight wrinkle at upper left corner of the adhesive. Unrecorded by Juchert. A very fine and rare Bull's Eye cover-the sole known usage from this town. Cert.
