    60 reis grey-black, Intermediate Impression on medium yellowish wove paper, Plate 6, the famous used block of thirteen from the lower right hand corner of the sheet of 60 stamps, positions 34-36/40-42/46-48/53-54/59-60, all cancelled by seven strikes of the framed CIDADE DE NICTHEROY handstamp (Ayres 1371) in black. Fine large margins all round including full 2 mm. margin at right, one minute pinhole in fourth stamp and small scissor cut between eighth and ninth stamps in margin only, otherwise extremely fine. Position 59 with evidence of re-touching on the numerals especially. The largest block of the 60 reis used since the Newbury/Hubbard block of twenty was halved into two blocks of ten.
