    1846 (June 21): Registration receipt for an insured letter sent from Rio de Janeiro to Ouro Preto, with insurance paid of 1'000 reis for a package at 50'000 reis. Some acid ink faults as usual but a rare document.
    Note: This piece at this date more probably belongs with an 'Inclinado's' collection.
