    60 reis grey-black, early Intermediate Impression, a horizontal used pair with ample to large margins all round, applied on reverse of 1843 sea mail cover used from Rio de Janeiro to Maranhao, left hand stamp affected by file fold, neatly tied by CORREIO GERAL DA CORTE datestamp (Dec 23) in black. Docketing of receipt inside (January 10, 1844). Unrecorded by Juchert. A fine and rare usage. Cert. Moorhouse (2013).
