    90 reis grey, Worn Impression, the famous used block of nine (half the pane), 1st Composite Plate, State B, positions 1-3/7-9/13-15; with sheet margins at left and at base (13mm.), the block with some worm holes and imperfections but cancelled by three complete strikes of the straight line MARIANNA handstamps (Ayres 1153) in brown. A dramatic and extraordinary multiple of great rarity-the largest provincial usage of the 90 reis.
