    1863/64: Pair of underpaid covers each franked by single 1862/64 6 d. lilac, the earlier August 1863 cover from Edinburgh to Altona struck with INSUFFICIENTLY / PREPAID in black and assessed with postage due of "2" silvergroschen in blue crayon and charged 13 skilling due on arrival; the January 1864 cover with INSUFFICIENTLY / STAMPED in black but mailed to Copenhagen with postage due of "2" silvergroschen in blue crayon but Copenhagen was in Rayon 2 and thus the charge raised on arrival was 18 skilling due. Faults but an unusual pairing.
