    1862 (Oct 22): Cover to Copenhagen addressed to the Second Secretary of the Royal Government General Post in Copenhagen, endorsed "Via Belgium, under ½ ounce in weight" at top, franked by 1855 1 d. red star and 1858 2 d. blue pl. 9 (five examples) all tied by London "WC5" obliterators.Reverse with Hamburg Danish P.O. cds (Oct 24). Manuscript "6½" in red crayon credited to German Postal Union and manuscript "2" at lower left for Danish credit. A fine and unusual franking.
