    1869: 15 bani red, a fine example used on 1872 registered cover to Bucharest in combination with perforated 1872 25 b. brown tied by "Giurgiu" datestamp (15/9) in black (Kiriac 461 or 462). Framed RECOMANDAT at right and manuscript "Urginte" alongside docket number at left. Three red wax seals on reverse alongside "Bucuresci" (15/9) arrival cds in black. An attractive and unusual mixed issue franking pre-paying the 40 bani registered rate (10 b. postage + 30 b. registration). Illustrated in Handbook II on page 279. Signed Calves.
