    81 parale blue on blued wove paper, the famous rejoined used 'pair' sharing "Jassy / Moldova" datestamp (10/8) in blue (Kiriac fig. 279). The left hand stamp just touched at top of circle and clear at base with large margins on each side and the merest trace of thin, right hand stamp cleear at top and at base and equally large margins at sides, both stamps without repairs. This severed pair represents the sole example of a 'multiple' of one of the rarest stamps in all Classic Philately and is in wonderful condition. There are just 27 used examples of the 81 parale recorded (five are very defective, two are in the British Museum, one in the Romanian Academy) of these only four are postmarked in Jassy.
