    5 c. purple-violet, First Stone used on 1860 entire letter from Bogotá to New York, in conjunction with two 20 c. new blue (also from the First Stone), fine to large margins all round with one 20 c. crossed by file fold, all adhesives tied by oval BOGOTÁ handstamps in black. Rated at 20 centavos for a single letter to Colón with extra charge of a further 25 centavos for 'sobreporte' mail via British Consulate. Red circular transit on front of Colon and oval "Forwarded by C. J. Fox / Aspinwall" cachet at right. From the Forwarder, the letter was carried as an enclosure for onward transmission to New York.
