1794 (April 30): Prepaid entire letter from Plata to Popayan, distance 20 leagaues / 110 kms., struck with the framed contracted PLATA handstamp in black (Tizon 1 = RRR). with heavily struck FRANCA handstamp above (Tizon 4 = RRR) and manuscript rate "1½" reales for a single letter under ½ ounce. A fine and scarce entire.
