1795 & 1797: Entire letters (2) from Cartagena to Popayan, distance of 355 leagues, 1'980 km., each struck with contracted CARTAGN handstamps in red, one is superb, (Tizon 2 = RR) earlier cover with FRANCA in red well struck and rated "4" reales; March 1797 entire from same correspondence to Josef Maria Mosquera, with DEVE in red (Tizon 3 = RRR) also rated "4" reales. A fine and rare pair.
