1784 (June 11): Entire letter from Cartagena to Medellin, distance of 224 leagues, 1'250 km., struck with fine contracted CARTAGN handstamp in red (Tizon 1 = RRR) and straight line FRANCA also in red (Tizon 5 = RR) at left. Manuscript rated "4" reales in ink for a letter weighing up to ¾ ounce. A rare and very fine entire.
