1 real green, a block of four in a dull matt shade, positions 76-77/85-86, used on large part of 1871 legal wrapper, somewhat restored at base for display, neatly cancelled by the extremely rare circular PELILEO / M.C. handstamp in black, with alongside, the equally elusive PELILEO / FRANCA circular datestamp (Oct 13) struck in red. The block with minor imperfections but a rare and appealing cover.
