    30 reis black, Early Impression in a deep shade on greyish paper, Napier's Third Composite plate, middle pane, positions 3-4, (and thus adjoining the previous lot) used horizontal pair showing top horizontal marginal line, cancelled by "Correio Geral Da Corte" datestamp (January 31, 1845) in black. Plated by Newbury with his manuscript writing on the reverse. A delightful and very scarce pair, illustrated in Napier.
