    1847/54: Embossed 1 s. green, Die 2, a fine appearing example in a bright shade used on 1855 cover endorsed "per S.S.Africa" to Boston, USA tied by bold strike of Sheffield sideways duplex (May 25) in black. Large "Boston / Br. Pkt. / Paid" cds at left (June 7) in red and unframed "5/Cents" charge mark for local delivery. File fold away from adhesive at top, an attractive cover.
