    1841/53: 1 d. red brown on blued, Die I, Alphabet II, used example on attractive March 1853 cover to Boston, USA tied by "784" Tenby obliterator in blue. Adhesive somewhat overstruck by "New York / Am. Pkt. / 24" (cents) due marking on arrival with unframed "3/Cents" marking alongside. A charming and scarce cover.
