    1855/57: Entire letters (2) both to Locarno, Switzerland, each struck on despatch by fine SAN FRANCISCO / CAL datestamps in black, mailed via Panama route to New York, thence via Closed Mail, with each entire showing AACHEN / FRANCO fraamed handstamps in red of transit and thence to Locarno. Extremely unusual fully paid usages, both of which open well for Exhibit display.
