    1865 (Jan 14): Entire letter from Constantinople to London carried by private ship to Triest where three line "Letter Arrivate / Col Vapore / Dal Levante" was applied in black (Jan 21), thence through Aachen where "7½" (silvergroschen) handstamp in black (Van Der Linden fig. 3108). Reverse and front showing manuscript "7" (silvergroschen) which should have been handstamped in Triest. Charged 1 s. 1 d. due on receipt (Jan 25). A fine and scarce entire with an unusual routing.
