    1870: Cover from Smyrna to Genova bearing 1867/74 3 s. green and pair of 10 s. blue tied by SMIRNE thimble (Tchilinghirian fig. 10) datestamps (April 30), with framed "Piroscafi / Postali / Italiani" in black at left; also an 1874 cover with same franking to the same addressee without the 'Piroscafi' marking.
