    1854 (April 9): Entire letter from Havana to Copenhagen via British P.O. with double arc HAVANA cds in black on reverse, sent unpaid with manuscript "2/5 d." in ink at right, thence via Danish P.O. in Hamburg (May 1) and manuscript "28" silvergroschen in blue, red crayon "37½" (schillinge) on front and reverse with notation "120" (the amount converted to skilling) + 9 sk. Danish share due on receipt.
