    1858 (May 24): Entire letter from Corfu to Plymouth, UK struck with Corfu cds of despatch and sent unpaid via Trieste. Struck with framed "6¼" (silvergroschen) handstamp in blue in transit (Van Der Linden fig. 3092) equivalent to 18 kreuzers, with London and Plymouth cds's (June 1) on reverse. Charged 1 shilling due in manuscript of which 8 pence was due to Prussia. A fine and scarce entire.
