    1870/71: Selection twelve covers / entires with usages of the Bordeaux issue incl. 10 c. bistre on two covers, one single franking 'percé en ligne', the other in a combination franking of same colour but different denomination with Cérès 1872 15 c. bistre Petits Chiffres; five covers with 20 c. blue single frankings in type I (2), type II, and type III (2), one type II in addition in combination franking with Napolèon laureated 10 c. bistre to Switzerland, one of type III with perçage privé called 'de la Tremblade', also in combination franking with two examples of Cérès 1871 25 c. blue type II on triple rate cover; 30 c. brown single franking to London; 40 c. orange on double rate inland cover; and 80 c. rose on Shipmail cover from Buenos-Ayres. An interesting ensemble ex Provera, four certificates.
